Lord Mann, in partnership with the APPG Against Antisemitism, hosted the third annual Parliamentary Chanukah lighting in Westminster Hall. The event was attended by parliamentarians from across both houses and members of the Jewish community.
The event was addressed by Wes Streeting MP, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sir James Cleverly MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Communities, Housing and Local Government, Sir Ed Davey MP, Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Joani Reid MP, Chair of the APPG Against Antisemitism, Rabbi Charley Baginsky and Rabbi Josh Levy, Co-Leads for the Movement for Progressive Judaism, Rabbi Yoni Birnbaum, and Alan Levy, Chair of Trustees at Heaton Park Synagogue.
A minute’s silence was held to honour the victims of the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.
