
APPG Against Antisemitism AGM 2019
The APPG Against Antisemitism held its AGM on Tuesday 23 July, 2019 at 2pm in the Jubilee room, Westminster Hall.
MPs John Mann, Luciana Berger, Ian Austin, Andrew Percy, and Guto Bebb were in attendance.
Introduction
The meeting was called to order, Luciana berger offered a vote of thanks to John Mann for his work and congratulated him on the announcement of his ennoblement. John Mann responded that it had been a privilege to lead the group but that it was time to step down as chair.
Election of Officers
Andrew Percy MP proposed Guto Bebb MP as new group chair, Luciana Berger MP proposed Catherine McKinnell MP. There was some discussion about the roles each would fulfill and the two members were elected unopposed. It was proposed and agreed that all remaining officers be re-elected and that John Mann become a Vice-President.
Guto Bebb MP proposed that the Antisemitism Policy Trust continue to act as the secretariat to the APPG. This was agreed unanimously.

Future Plans
There was some discussion of the rise of the far-right, and antisemitism in the Labour party. Danny Stone made a short presentation.
