
APPG AGAINST ANTISEMITISM AGM 2017
On the 27th June 2017 in Room W4, Westminster Hall at 10.15am, the APPG Against Antisemitism held its inaugural AGM following the 2017 General Election.
MPs John Mann, Louise Ellman, Ruth Smeeth, Wes Streeting, Lilian Greenwood and Nusrat Ghani were in attendance with apologies received from MPs Oliver Dowden, Matthew Offord, Ian Austin, Guto Bebb and Cat Smith.

The meeting was called to order.
Election of Officers
Wes Streeting and Lilian Greenwood proposed and seconded the re-election of John Mann MP as Chair of the APPG. He was elected unopposed.
John Mann thanked all the members and officers for the previous parliament and committed to writing to thank members that had stepped down or lost their seats at the election.
It was proposed that all remaining officers be re-elected. Mike Freer and Stuart Andrew are no longer able to serve as officers owing to their promotion to government positions. A number of MPs were proposed to fill the vacancies including Nusrat Ghani, Ellie Reeves, Robert Jenrick, Liz Saville-Roberts, Theresa Villiers, Andrew Percy and Dr. Lisa Cameron. The officer list was agreed.
John Mann proposed that the Antisemitism Policy Trust continue to act as the secretariat to the APPG. This was agreed unanimously.

Future Plans
An overview was given of plans for the forthcoming parliamentary term.
